Think back. Way back. Way back to Easter. Can you remember it? Barely? Me too.

Our was a little different this year. My (absolutely wonderful) Great Aunt Jan passed away, so the kiddos and I went to the Easter service at our church on Friday. Then my aunt’s viewing on Saturday. Then brunch with family who were in town for the funeral on Sunday morning. By Sunday afternoon, I came to my senses and took a few pictures. Some with my “big” camera and some(taken and edited) with my phone. A potpourri of sorts.

See? Totally random.

love bug.

Here in Georgia it’s been SO ICCCCCEY (a la Gucci Mane) and we have been stuck at the house for two days. I say that like I’m not at home the whole week anyhow because the thought of putting Ruthie in the car makes me cringe. Babies love their car seats, they say. The car puts my baby to sleep, they say. Yeah. Whatever. But! Joel has been home and that is magic. All those words to say, I had the chance to get behind the sewing machine and make Felix a baseball tee for Valentine’s Day. He requested a centipede as his bug. Of course, the one with all the legs. So many legs.

I used this tutorial from Make It & Love It. Instead of a fabric applique I used the freezer paper stencil method. Google that. You can find the love bug design I put together HERE. (Depending on what size you are making, you may have to enlarge or shrink the image.)

Love that sweet boy. AND HIS GROWN UP HAIR.
